For my postgraduate dissertation project, I created an evaluative report based on feedback data from LGBT Youth Scotland's LGBT Charter programme, an accreditation programme that guides Scottish organisations towards more LGBTQ+-inclusive practices and policies. While I cannot share the complete report due to data protection and IP concerns, an excerpt is included below that includes the project framing. The overwhelming response from LGBT Youth Scotland is that the report I created will be invaluable to them as they work towards programme development and expansion.
As part of a final group project in my Representing Data course, I responded to a brief from Creative Informatics (CI) asking for data visualisations that would allow them to explore and communicate the geographic and social reach of their funding programme. The final product was a dashboard of visuals created through Tableau Desktop based around an interactive map that showcases the relationships between multiple traits of applicants - e.g., SIMD data zone, funding stream, creative sector, and success status.
While working as an Education Programme Coordinator at International House, I was tasked with analysing and reporting all adult and youth programme data. Below are examples of reports I made to evidence the impact of Rising Up, an after-school literacy tutoring programme, and Rising Readers, a literacy-focused summer camp. Both programmes cater to English as a Second Language students in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) public education system.
